Summer Camp: Sweet Cupcakes

Penelope’s Story

Penelope: A long time ago there was a little boy who loved to learn. His family were farmers and very poor, but they saved a lot of money and sent him away to school in the city.

Penelope: The boy worked very hard there. It wasn’t easy, he missed his family and he was hungry all the time because he could only afford half the food the other kids got. But he got through it and went on to become a famous scientist.

Penelope: If I could, I would go back in time and give that little boy a cupcake filled with happiness. That way he wouldn’t be as hungry and he would know that somewhere in the distant future there’s a little girl made of pixels who wanted him to be happy because he’d made her happy.

Joel’s Story

Joel: There was once a woman named Cathy Tea who had discovered the wonder of cupcakes, but had never actually tasted one before. So, on her walks through Newcrest, she came across the Cupcake Wizard by the name of Joel Rochdale, who was aware of Cathy Tea’s desire for cupcakes.

Joel: As a present, he gifted Cathy Tea with her own cupcake machine which when he said “Make, Cupcake Machine, Make.”, it made a lot of cupcakes until he then said “Stop, Cupcake Machine, Stop.”, which it then ceased to operate.

Joel: Cathy Tea thanked the Cupcake Wizard, took her machine and left.

Cathy Tea took the Cupcake Machine back to the Summer Camp, where all of the children were over the moon by how many cupcakes that they could have.

Joel: It was really an infinite supply!

Joel: However, when Cathy Tea went out to a Counsellor’s Meeting with the Cupcake Wizard, a girl with the name… Chiyo Ikeda went up to the Cupcake Machine and said, “Make, Cupcake Machine, Make!” and the Cupcake Machine started to bake and bake!

Joel: After the children had filled their bellies up with cupcakes, they wanted to cease the Cupcake Machine’s baking, but none of them knew the words to make it stop!

Joel: So, it went on cooking and cooking, filling the entire camp of Cupcakes and eventually travelling in and through the Gallery into everyone’s hard drives!

Joel: It was as if the Cupcake Machine wanted to satisfy all sim hunger forever, which would be good for the players, but it would be hard to see us because of the Cupcakes in the way!

Joel: However, just before the last Hard Drive was touched by cupcakes, Cathy Tea returned to the camp grounds and shouted “Stop, Cupcake Machine, Stop!” and it ceased to bake. But, anyone who wanted to make their way around the world would have to eat their way around… I guess this made good business for the gyms in each hard drive, right? And that’s the story, of the Sweet Cupcakes that took over the SimNation.
